I love the power and intelligence that lives within pregnancy and birth, and I love when pregnant women and their families awaken to this power. Becoming a certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Educator and Hypno-Doula has been one of the greatest opportunities I have experienced in my fourteen years as a birth doula and childbirth educator. Hypnobabies supports all the beliefs that I believe in. I am deeply grateful that I found Hypnobabies, invested in its thorough training for myself and for my clients. I believe that every woman has within her the innate intelligence of being able to birth naturally, if she chooses to. I believe the fear that is associated with natural birth, has to do with the lack of setting a true, focused and heart-centered birth intention. Hypnobabies brings a clarity to pregnant women and helps them to awaken and make conscientious choices that supports them in manifesting their true birth vision of experiencing a peaceful, calm and beautiful birth.

Fabulous instructor and she is great at inpiring and preparing mamas for birth. I was hesitant and quite nervous knowing I was going to be a mom. Angela definitely knows everything there is to know about birthing. Loved taking her classes they were very informative. She dedicated her time, is extremely supportive, and attentive during her classes. Not only did you prepare me physically but also mentally. All your classes were a huge inspiration and great preparation. I hope and wish all the best for you and keep doing what you are doing. You had a great impact on me and my journey this far, would recommend her to all mothers-to-be!
I chose Angela as my doula after taking her prenatal yoga class and attending her workshop. It was the best decision I could have made for my birth. She is unlike any other doula in that she coaches you throughout your pregnancy in preparation for birth. She is an incredibly intuitive and spiritual woman who truly cares about people. I had some major breakthroughs in our sessions and cried several times.
Having her with me at the hospital throughout my labor was extremely helpful. My husband was wonderful but she was a source of energy and power that gave me the strength to push myself more than I ever thought I could.
I also have to mention that she gives the most AMAZING prenatal massages. I’ve gotten plenty of massages in my life but none compare to hers!
After enjoying the yoga classes so much I decided to have my husband meet Angela since I knew I wanted her as my doula (I was excited to hire her from the moment I found out she was a doula). My husband was just as impressed as I was, and we knew Angela had to attend our home birth. We hired her because she is experienced, loving, caring, wise, and she’s fun to be around. When she speaks her words come from love and were always exactly what I needed to hear. I trust her with my entire heart, I trusted her to support me during the birth of my baby.
This was my first baby and I had been planning this home birth for years. As a researcher thirsty for knowledge about pregnancy and natural birth, I wanted to make sure we had the best of everything, including the ultimate BEST doula we could find to help us. Angela was not the only doula we interviewed, but we knew she was the one for us!
I loved my experience with Angela for a number of reasons. We had high expectations and she did not let us down! One of the big reasons was her experience and how professional she was. I had meetings and phone appointments set throughout my pregnancy until the birth. I loved getting on the phone with her for her “pregnancy life coaching” sessions. Each time we talked she calmed me, listened to what was going on with me at the time, and she was able to turn around any doubts or fears I had. She always knew exactly what to say to me! It was like a professional therapy session, but for birth!
I ended up having the perfect home birth that I always wanted. I labored for 36 hours (including early stage, active for only about 15 hours). Angela was there with us every step of the way. My husband was sooo grateful to have here there, as she took over a huge chunk of work for him with caring for me while I labored, my emotional support, managing getting the birth pool ready, making sure I was eating and drinking, reminding me and helping me go to the bathroom, reminding me to switch positions, suggesting positions, massaging my back, getting me the support I needed when I was nauseous, hot, cold, scared, tired, or whatever!
She is also a hypnobabies instructor which was a HUGE plus for us as we had completed the hypnobabies courses. If it hadn’t been for her completing those courses as an instructor and hypnodoula I don’t know how my labor and birth would have ended up, I really used her for that! She was able to calm and relax me so that I felt absolutely no pain. You also have to know that I was extremely stubborn during the hypnobabies course.. for some reason I thought that I wasn’t able to be hypnotised, that I didn’t like the tracks, and that it was definitely NOT going to work on me. Angela and I find this humorous now, because not only did it work, but it worked well! During the birth she was able to get me so deep into hypnosis I was sleeping through contractions!! I was completely calm during each stage of labor, transition, and pushing.
My baby ended up being asynclitic, which is a form of malpresentation in the pelvis. These labors are supposedly known to be more painful with a long pushing stage (baby is somewhat “stuck” and not slipping right through the birth canal easily because they are tilted). The midwife said that if it hadn’t been for the fact that I was continuously progressing (although very slowly), she would have had to transfer me tp the hospital. She also said that she was close to transferring me, but then he was born! I have Angela to thank for all of this. She kept me calm, she kept me relaxed and in the moment. I swear I do not remember any pain from the whole labor. I pushed for 4 hours and although I will admit I was tired, it was the most beautiful experience, unlike anything I have ever experienced. It felt so good to push him out, I am addicted to birthing babies and I can’t wait to experience it again. Thank you Angela, from the bottom of my heart for giving me this beautiful birth. I truly could not have done it without you, your experience, your wisdom, your strength, your unconditional love and support for me. I am forever grateful for this gift you’ve given me and my family and I appreciate you. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. WE LOVE YOU ANGELA.
